Mark Macleod has been a university lecturer, writer, speaker, TV presenter and award-winning publisher. He was Children's Publishing Director at Random House Australia and published books for adults and young readers at Hodder Headline Australia. He won the CBCA's Lady Cutler Award in 2001 and the APA Pixie O'Harris Award for distinguished services to children’s literature in 2003. Sue deGennaro studied film at university, learnt how to weld and draw at art school and moved to Sydney to become an aerialist/performance artist. She now lives in Melbourne with her partner and two children.
